We went on a walk up Cwm Mountain with some residents, which is actually a large hill rising off the back of the estate. At the top, we looked down on Tre Cwm estate, and did interviews on our phones about where the perceived boundaries of their neighbourhood were, and what their homes were like. One girl was reluctant to do a formal interview, but then started talking about her home anyway. Her tone was as though she was admitting a secret. She said she didn’t like her home because she could hear drug dealers out her window. She said they were scary, and that her mom was always upset about it. She said that there was one house where the windows were broken, and that’s where the drug dealer lived. We made drawings of projections into the future; lots of them showed the sea levels rising and Tre Cwm and the rest of Llandudno being submerged.
